This house has everything - the light and the shadow, the transparency and the privacy, the vision and the security. For the owner, working with the interior designer was a real stroke of luck. What was initially supposed to be a manageable modernization became, through the interaction of both creative minds, a project that extends across all floors. This led to a rearrangement of the rooms as a tailor-made solution. The starting point is the distinctive cross vault on the ground floor from the 18th century. This architectural detail is the focal point for the spacious kitchen, the dining area and the fireplace space. Powerful color accents were used here in the furniture and art. Transparency through glass doors, which can be given a satin finish in the bathroom area if desired, gives the house a French lightness. The lighting concept runs through all floors: in addition to the ceiling lighting, which is particularly spectacularly embedded between the old oak beams on the upper floor, we mainly find wall lights. Each one is hand-picked, some from Paris, some unique pieces with collector value. All materials were processed to the highest standard, whether the oak floors on the upper and attic floors, the built-in furniture on the upper floor, the tiles, the doors, the lights...Rarely can one speak of perfection, but here it has been achieved. Best of - an irresistibly beautiful house.
