Luxury real estate agents Cissie Sullivan and Tracey Turner of the Sullivan Turner Team at Meybohm Real Estate provided a spectacular house tour and thoughtful answers in Luxury Portfolio International’s fourth episode of Friday Faces.

Based in Aiken, South Carolina, the pair adore the town for its sporting lifestyle. The area is especially optimal for horse lovers, as evidenced by buyer behavior.

“Here in Aiken, we have seen the luxury equestrian properties with amenities move at a really fast pace this year,” Ms. Sullivan said.

Throughout the video, viewers will catch glimpses of a beautiful custom house originally built in 1962 and renovated in 2020.

The property’s fine finishes, updated amenities and remarkable outdoor space are among its many draws. Everything was thought of during the renovation, meaning no work when the buyer moves in.

“Buyers are really looking for that turnkey, renovated product,” Ms. Turner said. “They are willing to pay a higher amount for a product that is ready to go.”

Contemporary styles have influenced Ms. Turner’s own preferences.

When asked her favorite architectural styles, she said, “I would say the Tudor and the Craftsman styles, but recently I really love the clean lines of that modern look.”

In terms of their favorite spots within the house, Ms. Sullivan noted the backyard, plus “the kitchen is superb.”

Ms. Turner, meanwhile, is admiring the details.

“I love the pecky cypress in the dining room,” she said.

A few of their favorite things

Speaking of kitchens and dining rooms, the pair unanimously agreed on their favorite food to make. When asked, they simultaneously exclaimed, “Cookies!”

Beyond that, they enjoy similar recreational activities. Both mentioned visiting tennis courts in their spare time along with golfing, soccer and working out with their dogs.

The two are also avid readers. Ms. Sullivan mentioned 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez as her favorite read.

“I think mine is Atomic Habits by James Clear,” Ms. Turner said.

THE DYNAMIC DUO greatly appreciate their field, collectively dedicating 36 years to their craft.

For those looking to break into the industry, agents should remember that it is a people business.

“You have got to be a great communicator,” Ms. Sullivan said.

It all boils down to exquisite customer service.

Correspondingly, “It is all about the concierge service,” Ms. Turner said.
