On the surface, careers as a professional musician and a residential Realtor do not appear have much in common. But according to Jeremy Fain, former professional musician, music professor, and now a Top Producer, Accredited Luxury Home Specialist and Leading Relocation Specialist at Greenwood King Properties they overlap in significant ways.

"I completely attribute my success in real estate to my previous career as a professional musician," Jeremy explains. "As a musician, I practiced the same things for hours upon hours, day after day, to perfect my craft and art until I got them exactly right. It's the same in real estate. I do the same things over and over and adjust what doesn't work until it does work - and the process produces successful results every single time."

It's a formula that definitely translates into success. In addition to achieving Top Producer status with GKP, Jeremy has been named one of Houston Association of Realtors "Top 20 Under 40."

Jeremy focuses his sales in Houston's finer neighborhoods, particularly the Memorial Villages, The Woodlands, River Oaks, and West University. His eye for detail and ability to listen and understand the needs of his clients creates a transaction experience that is productive and enjoyable. "My experience as a music professor at the university level helps me to interpret and explain situations in different ways. What one person understands in one way, another may not...but you reach the same conclusion at the end. The BIGGEST thing is being a good listener. At some appointments, I barely say a word, just listen to the clients. Not a lot of people know how to really listen."

A diverse client base is one of the aspects of his career that Jeremy likes best. "I interact with people from all cultures with many different personalities. I am proud to be able to assist them, and I relate to every one of those people in all of those different situations. I seem to be able to convey that I care, and that I am loyal - and loyalty is everything to clients."

Jeremy supports a number of non-profit organizations and social clubs in the Houston community. These include Avenue 360, Houston Tennis Club, Executive Professional Association of Houston, Houston Rights Campaign, and Krewe of Olympus.

A native of Midland, Texas, Jeremy received his Bachelors degree in music performance from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, his Masters degree in music performance and literature from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, and pursued his post-graduate work in music performance at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. He is passionate about tennis, wine, and real estate and says, "I'm very fortunate to love what I do."
