A native of Garden City, Kate McMahon Crofton’s early career was spent in NYC where she enjoyed a successful career in advertising at TMP Worldwide. There, she negotiated for clients’ ad space in various mediums and created captivating targeted ads. In 2004 she joined The Corcoran Group in NYC spending six years at the top agency in Manhattan. To hear her tell it, "Working with the top agents in the business really teaches you to think outside the box in order to secure the best deal for your client, seller, or buyer. The negotiating skills I learned are invaluable to me, and still cultivated today." 
Kate McMahon Crofton was born with real estate in her blood. Kate’s family successfully serviced the Garden City market for 25 years with their company, McMahon Realty. With the buzz of her parents always talking about, looking at, and negotiating real estate, Kate always knew she would one day follow suit. After marrying in 2010, Kate moved out of the city and joined her family at McMahon Realty until it closed in 2013. Though her parents have both passed, she continues to carry the values, integrity, and white-glove service they instilled in her. Kate also has a love of interior design, combined with a keen sense of space and an eye for detail that has helped her sellers show their homes in the best light, generating the highest price possible, while it also helps her buyers see vision and potential in a home in need of a renovation.
