Gemma was born on a farm in Ireland and came to the United States at a young age. Coming from a family of FDNY firefighters and SCPD/SCPD officers, Gemma followed suit and had an impressive 25-year run as a Detective Lieutenant for the NYPD. In her words, “I understand the commitment to serving the public and making a positive impact on people’s lives.” That kind of integrity and care is exactly the thing you want in a real estate agent! Her father was a general contractor which first gave Gemma an interest in real estate. After retiring from the force, she obtained her license and has been working hard for Long Islanders ever since!
Not one to rest on her laurels, Gemma has earned a Staging Specialist designation to help her better meet the specific needs of her clients and customers. With an appetite for learning, Gemma loves to read and enjoys being active by kayaking or working out. She’s also been known to renovate a few homes!
