Deirdre also worked as a rehabilitation counselor for 15 years. To succeed in that role, one must possess patience, caring, and the ability to listen. Lucky for her patients, those skills are in her wheelhouse, and they transfer perfectly to her real estate business. In addition, Deirdre is highly communicative, always supportive, and detail-oriented. Deirdre goes the extra mile for clients and customers. She has sacrificed a commission for a potential sale when the seller said she’d keep the house (instead of selling it and earning Deirdre a commission) if she could find a tenant. A personal friend needed a rental, so she gave her as a tenant to the seller – successfully helping the seller to have a good tenant and a friend find a good landlord and home. She is also known for taking care of details that agents aren’t normally responsible for: dog watching during showings, cleaning for an open house, getting quotes for home repairs, and watching children during home inspections.
