Kim Kakerbeck has been actively involved with real estate in the Hamptons for 20+ years. She works full time as an agent and enjoys connecting with clients/customers to help them sell, buy or rent their special home in an efficient manner, with respect and integrity. Prior to working as an agent, Kim was a real estate developer in the Hamptons. She successfully bought and sold multiple properties, ranging from renovations to new builds. This experience has provided a keen knowledge of the industry--in all aspects--from design, permit process, construction, and sales in established neighborhoods as well as up and coming areas. Kim had a long career in technology and media and as Director of Business Services for Time Warner Cable of New York City. This foundation has helped her to stay on top of the latest technology trends and social media platforms which is crucial for success in real estate today. Prior to that, she was a marketing, product development and sales professional for two high profile architecture firms in Manhattan, as well as Ernst & Young, AlphaNet Telecom and Katz Communications. Kim has been involved with LGBT civil rights for many years, helping to win equality and justice for LGBT New Yorkers as the Co-Chair of the Board of the Empire State Pride Agenda. A native of Westchester County, New York, Kim graduated from Temple University's Lew Klein College of Media and Communication. She enjoys many sporting activities including, tennis, golf, swimming, and skiing. Kim lives in Sag Harbor.
