Originally from North Carolina, she graduated from St. Marys High School in Raleigh, NC (Class of 1979), St. Mary's College in Raleigh, NC (Class of 1981) and the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill (Class of 1983). Grace spent her Junior semester abroad with Hollins College on the Hollins London Abroad program living with a family and studying Liberal Arts. Grace worked in magazine advertising sales for a small start-up publishing firm in Atlanta, GA, for 5 years. She moved to Florida to work in a corporate position for Polo, the NYC-based Ralph Lauren representative for Florida for 3 years, and as the NYC-based representative for Polo for Boys Sales and Marketing for Florida for 5 years.
