After receiving her Ph.D. in Counselor Education, Susan taught at the University of Wisconsin for several years before returning home to Manhattan. A NYC real estate broker for over 30 years, she founded a Manhattan residential development business in 1981, serving as a general partner, a sponsor in cooperative conversions, and a managing agent before joining Brown Harris Stevens in January, 2009. In addition to her passion for real estate, Susan serves as the Chair of the Board of MCC Theater Co, and has served on a number of other non-profit boards, including The Citizens Committee for Children of New York, The Dalton School and the NYC Ombudsmen Review Board. She shares her love of theater and travel with her husband, and is very enthusiastic about having raised two children in NYC.
