Richard has lived in Brownstone Brooklyn for more than 30 years, has written extensively about the neighborhoods, and seen his children through PS 29. As a renter, co-op owner, brownstone owner, and landlord himself, Richard has seen it all. He understands buyers and sellers passions and concerns. Above all, he listens and he gets it. In his former career as a writer and editor, Richard published articles, poems and reviews in dozens of outlets, including The New York Times, Esquire, The Wall Street Journal, Mens Journal, The Nation and Food & Wine . He is a former editor-in-chief of ForbesLife magazine and a managing editor of Forbes. Educated in Virginia and at Harvard, he lives with his family on a mellow, treelined street in dynamic Cobble Hill.
