After the earthquake in Haiti in January 2010, he took six months off of work to establish a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization called Operation Get Done. Gage spent about three months living in the Northern Province of Haiti, using his own money to run a regimented and effective 40-person work crew that distributed food and cleaned up streets. His organization caught the eye of the Haitian federal government, and Gage was offered international financing to continue his operation.
