As a native of Asheville, I have been fortunate enough to live in several of the unique areas in and around Asheville including Avery's Creek, Town Mountain, Biltmore Forest, Cane Creek Valley, and Weaverville.I have two amazing daughters. They were raised in the T.C. Roberson and A.C. Reynolds School Districts where I was an active parent. Today, my oldest daughter lives in New York City. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia- Grady College. My youngest daughter is a senior at NC State University -College of Textiles. They both love returning home to Asheville.Something interesting you might not know about me. In March of 2015, I set out to hike the Camino de Santiago. This was a 600 mile journey beginning in the French Pyrenees Mountains and finishing in Finisterre Spain.
