This loft punches way above its weight-class, the numbers will tell you it is a medium size loft on a mid-level floornothing seemingly too special. But once you get into the space you realize this is anything but ordinary. The living room is very generous, and has plenty of oversized windows offering spectacular views, of a quintessential New York streetscape with a European flare. This section of Allen Street has a very rare, useable park between the North and South bound lanes. This gives the street a classic European feel, a little bit like the Boulevards found in Madrid, Rome...or even Paris. However, as soon as your eyes raise a bit from the park to the buildings across, you know you are in a hip NYC spot, an eclectic mix of new construction buildings with still a bit of gritty sprinkled in between. One always expects floor-through lofts to have windows on both ends, but this loft also has large North facing windows in the kitchen and the dining area. It is those windows you see as soon as you get off the key-locked elevator, and they are what makes the place very special from the moment you walk in. Adding to the uniqueness of the loft are a gas fireplace in the living room, and a private terrace of the master bedroom. Combined they give the lucky occupant a perfect place to congregate or get cozy during every season and weather condition. Every New Yorker needs a place to unwind. The rest of the home has all the conveniences needed to make this special place uber-livable. Two bedrooms, two baths, full size laundry, generous storage space, and a very comfortable and practical kitchen.
