Florida Luxury Homes
"Here in Florida, we have something special we never enjoyed… the blessing of size. There's enough land here to hold all the ideas and plans we can possibly imagine."
- Walt Disney
America's most famous animator and, arguably, most influential artist summed up the state of Florida nicely when he noted that it is a place where both businesses and individuals can grow. Though in his particular case the reference was to the fact that, unique among eastern American states, much of Florida's land was left undeveloped even late into the 20th Century, the complex, vibrant, and diverse culture of 'The Sunshine State' continues to produce an environment that attracts dynamic, creative people from throughout the world.
This special atmosphere, with its mixture of Southern American, Cuban, Caribbean, metropolitan, and other world cultures, is only part of the reason why this land, once thought of as the home to the mythical 'Fountain of Youth', has retained its attractiveness over the years. Because it is a peninsula that juts into the tropical waters of both the Gulf Stream and Gulf of Mexico, it not only enjoys beautiful weather throughout the year but also benefits from a shoreline that comes behind only the states of Alaska and Michigan in terms of total mileage. Given that Florida's waterfront property is accessible to boats and swimmers throughout the year, however, it is arguably America's greatest location for waterborne fun.
