WATCH: LPI president Mickey Alam Khan on a special photo shoot at The Carlyle

Luxury Portfolio International released the latest issue of Luxury Portfolio magazine in March, the theme of which was elegance.

For the cover story, Portrait of elegance, written by president Mickey Alam Khan, LPI partnered with Saks Fifth Avenue and an iconic New York landmark to create scenes celebrating just that.

“We decided to have a photo shoot in a very glamorous but elegant location – The Carlyle hotel in New York,” Mr. Alam Khan said.

From its storied history to the sophisticated bar to the best breakfast in town, Mr. Alam Khan details why the Carlyle, the designer clothing courtesy of Saks and the model couple enjoying drinks at the bar and returning to the hotel from a night on the town, fit the issue’s theme so well.

“We like to go out there and create this imaginary situation – you know, just have some fun,” Mr. Alam Khan said.
