In late 1995 he proudly affiliated himself with Brown Harris Stevens (then Halstead) with the opening of its Greenwich Village office located on Broadway near Union Square. Prior to that Joel worked at another well-known firm learning the real estate ropes beginning in 1989. Joel has specialized in the sale and leasing of unique Manhattan apartments, including lofts, townhouses, pre-wars, and modern hi-rises. He has developed expertise in all types of residential transactions, being particularly well-versed in guiding clients through the intricacies of the cooperative and condominium sale and subleasing process from marketing to closing.
