The Playboy Mansion, residing on five sprawling acres in Los Angeles has hit the market. Situated in Holmby Hills, a neighborhood that together with Bel Air and Beverly Hills form what is known as Los Angeles’ Platinum Triangle.
Playboy Enterprises, Inc. purchased the home in 1971 for just over $1 million which was the largest real estate transaction in Los Angeles history at the time.
The residence is nearly 20,000 square feet, with 12 bedrooms, 21 bathrooms and a four-bedroom guesthouse, perfect for accommodating large events or serving as a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. The abundance of amenities include, a catering kitchen, wine cellar, home theater, separate game house, gym, tennis court and freeform swimming pool with a large, cave-like grotto and even a zoo license.
