This 1810 Colonial home in Westport, CT was completely restructured and redesigned in 2009 by interior designer Mar Silver and architect Andre Tchelistcheff, expanding it from a farmhouse to an elegant 7850 square foot home. The original Main house is connected to two separate structures by glass skylights and bridges, bringing in light and creating a seamless design between rooms perfect for modern family life and entertaining. The flooring throughout the property is unfinished reclaimed French oak. High gloss Venetian plaster, imported stone and the use of glass create a tranquil yet livable home.

Features throughout the home include a combined dining room and sitting room that is partitioned by smoked-glass sliding panels. The Kitchen and family room are spacious with 20 feet of floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open fully onto a pool patio. The Master suite boasts a fireplace, sitting room and custom designed closets with floor-to-ceiling, frosted sliding panels.
