RELECTIONS 

This 4,200 square foot residence is located on 12 acres in Stowe – the ‘ski capital of the east’ nestled in the Green Mountains of Vermont. The site slopes to the west, affording spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and spectacular sunsets across the large swimming pond. The design combines modernism with regional materials to create a dynamic environment open to the buyer’s interpretation. A mortar-washed-brick base supports two, wood-framed pavilions, one containing the great room, the other a master-bedroom suite. A cedar atrium links the pavilions and provides access to the lower level, which contains a family room/sitting area, two guest-bedroom suites, an exercise area, potting shed and garage. All rooms open onto outdoor terraces leading to loose laid stone walls which define outdoor rooms, paths and planting beds.
