The beach to the left of Casa Canela is La Playa Destiladeras, one of the best beaches in all of Banderas Bay. Stretching 2.5 miles, and as wide as 100 yards, this beach has beautiful white sand and great surf. It’s one of Casa Canela’s many treasures. From January to April, humpback whales play less than a half a mile from your doorstep. There is reasonably priced year-round deep sea fishing at Punta Mita.
