Charles N. Vilas, successful hotelier and philanthropist, built the Manor on the Hill as his retreat from NYC.  It became not only the place for him to spend his golden years but a place where he would continue his unselfish works.  Within the nearly 80 acres of land, you have three Residences, Recreation Hall, Carriage House with Stable, Barn, almost 2000 feet of direct river frontage, swimming pool, tennis court, spectacular views, sloping open fields, brilliant sunsets and calm breezes across the hill top.
