Celebrity couple Anne Archer and her husband Terry Jastrow list their Rhode Island golf residence for $1.1m with Lila Delman Real Estate
Posted 04/10/2009Newport, Rhode Island- Lila Delman Real Estate announces the offering of the Rhode Island golf residence currently owned by world renowned actress Anne Archer and her husband Terry Jastrow for US$1.1million. The luxurious golf residence is located within the Carnegie Abbey Club, a private sporting estate just outside Newport.
Anne Archer was nominated for an Academy Award for her role as Michael Douglas’ tortured wife in the 1987 thriller, “Fatal Attraction.” She was winner of a Golden Globe Award for her performance in Robert Altman’s “Short Cuts.” But she is perhaps better known to all of us for playing opposite Harrison Ford in “Patriot Games” and “Clear and Present Danger.” Archer is currently co-staring in the new series “Privileged” and will be seen in a new romantic comedy “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past,” in which she plays a sultry, estranged wife who more than catches Matthew McConaughey’s eye. Archer, a tireless campaigner for human rights across the globe, founded Artists for Human Rights (ARHR) in 2006.
Anne’s husband Terry Jastrow is a winner of seven Emmy Awards, having produced and directed some of television’s most prestigious and important sports programs over the past 25 years. These include the Super Bowl XIX 1985, the Indy 500 in the 70’s and the Kentucky Derby. He also produced 6 Olympic Games and was producer of ABC’s Sport golf Series. Jastrow was President of Jack Nicklaus Productions; re-launched Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf and created the Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge, Michael Douglas & Friends and the Tommy Bahama Challenge.
Actress Anne Archer and her husband Terry Jastrow has become the latest celebrity couple to list their luxury residence with Melanie Delman, president and owner of Lila Delman Real Estate. Recent celebrity listings have included the Gray Craig estate owned by actor Nicolas Cage and the Anthony Quinn estate.
THE RESIDENCE
