Fernando Diaz and Associates strives for the best possible expression and solution to clients' aspirations and needs. His projects range from small homes and offices to grand scale residences and office suites. Completed projects are located throughout the United States, Mexico and Spain.

Interior design begins with a focus on clients' lifestyles and articulates the way they live through the spirit of their homespaces. We bring that sense of personality and function to each project to ensure long-lasting livability and grace.

Cuban-born interior designer Fernando Diaz founded his firm in 1980 specializing in residential, commercial and retail projects.

Mr. Diaz graduated from Ottawa University in 1973 with a BA degree in Entertainment Business Management, and later in 1982 from UCLA Extension with an Interior Design Certificate. In 1993 Mr. Diaz became a Certified Interior Designer in the State of California. In 1998–1999 Mr. Diaz served as President of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Los Angeles Chapter. He received the 2006 ASID Medalist Award, the highest award given on the Chapter level. Fernando currently extends his leadership role in the Chapter as Chair of many important programs and functions. In 2007 he received the “Recognition for Excellence” award from NEWH, The Hospitality Network. His work has graced the pages of Metropolitan Home Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, and Los Angeles Home & Décor, as well as other publications. Television appearances include several HGTV programs.
