COSTA BLANCA OVERVIEW

A warm climate and tranquil waters that roll calmly to the beach have drawn millions of visitors to Spain's Costa Blanca. The mountains creating a jagged horizon overlooking the sea only add to the extraordinary landscape. There is also much to discover in the region aside from the natural beauty, including numerous relics from past cultures waiting to be discovered as well as fabulous Costa Blanca luxury homes.

The Valencian Community on the coast is one of the liveliest areas in the entire country. Site of Spanish hero and legend El Cid's conquest, Valencia is full of rare tales. Numerous stories can be told about the beaches, the monuments of The Old Town, the bustling nightlife and traditional cuisine. Valencia luxury homes and apartments contribute to the narrative with their combination of charm and elegant sophistication. The Valencian town of Altea displays its allure in a maze of streets with whitewashed house-fronts and blue and white tiled domes and roofs. Outside of the fascinating labyrinth, Altea luxury homes offer privileged positions looking out over the Mediterranean.

Golden beaches are a major draw of Javea in northern Costa Blanca. The resort city is broken up into three distinct areas: Old Town is full of interesting architecture including the Gothic Church of San Bartolome; Puerto houses many yachts in the marina, but unlike many other ports is still a working fishing port; and Playa de Arenal is the main beach area. Many Javea luxury homes overlook all three areas of the city from stunning elevated perches.

Whether in one of the larger cities on the coast or small historic towns like Benissa and Moraira, Costa Blanca provides the amenities for a variety of vacationing explorers as well as those searching for their own luxury home on the Spanish coast.
