Hoyt C. Murphy, Inc. Realtors was founded in 1949 by Hoyt C. Murphy, Sr. The firm is headquartered near the Historic Downtown Area of Fort Pierce, Florida with branch offices conveniently located in Port St. Lucie and on South Hutchinson Island. In 1984, Murphy, Sr. stepped down and his son, Hoyt C. Murphy, Jr. took over as President and CEO of the company. Since that time the company has continued to grow and today it is considered to be the oldest and largest real estate firm on the Treasure Coast as well as one of the oldest incorporated companies in the area.
