Earlier this week, the Luxury Portfolio team had the privilege to tour the historic Frank Lloyd Wright Robie House in Hyde Park, just south of downtown Chicago.

We were also fortunate to have a fantastic guide - Jim Schiefelbein, Chair of the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust and also Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer of Luxury Portfolio member Baird & Warner. Jim’s knowledge of Robie House and all things Frank Lloyd Wright made for a very informative and entertaining experience.

The work currently being done to conserve and restore Robie House is fascinating - from recreating built-in shelves and a dining room buffet to carefully removing trim to see and match original wall colors. Thanks again to Jim for a great tour!
