LuxeChatter: Famous Luxury Villa outside Lucca, Italy
A momentous compound with a historic pedigree was recently added to LuxuryPortfolio.com. Just outside of Lucca, the remarkable residence was once owned by Elisa Bonaparte – Napoleon’s sister and former Princess of Lucca and Piombino.
The four level villa – “Villa Reale” – features authentic furnishings, finishes, frescoes and original doors. Also on the property are a bishop’s house, clockhouse and two keeper’s houses. Lakes, a pool and a theater are included in a 20 hectare park that was originally created in the 17th century and later enlarged by Elisa Bonaparte.
