Agents Who Give Back: Phil Collins
Phil Collins of William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage, and Insurance comes from a long line of philanthropists. His grandparents were instrumental in creating the current state of Naples, Florida by protecting nearby landmarks like Keewaydin Island and the Keewaydin Club, rebuilding the Naples Pier after Hurricane Donna hit the area in 1960 and in 1970 when pilings had to be replaced on the pier. Phil’s grandparents also helped found the Naples Community Hospital and built the Norris Center at Cambier Park which provides recreational activities, camps, and special performances for families.
Both Phil and his family currently support several local efforts in the Naples area including marine research. Together, they worked to establish both The Big Cypress Nature Center and The Conservancy of Southwest Florida, which works to protect wildlife and the natural environment of animals in the Southwest Florida area.
With support from his family and community, Phil gives generously to several charitable organizations including the not-for-profit Youth Haven in which he served on the board, The Golisano Children's Museum of Naples and the YMCA. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida and is President of the Norris Family Foundation.
